Comments, accounts, and submitted content

If comments are enabled, we collect the information shown in the comment form along with an IP address and browser user-agent string to support moderation and spam detection. An anonymized hash of an email address may be sent to Gravatar to determine whether you use that service; see the Automattic Privacy Policy. Approved comments and profile images may be publicly visible.

If you register for an account or submit content, we may store the profile and submission information you provide. Account holders can generally view or edit certain profile details. Content submitted for publication may remain visible after an account is closed where needed to preserve site records, subject to applicable law.

Embedded content and third-party websites
